COLOUR TRENDS 2025

Every year a new pantone colour of the year is released and for 2025 it will be Mocha Mousse. A soft, warm, and rich brown hue, It's a mix of light brown, taupe, and coffee tones. The colour is said to evoke feelings of comfort and pleasure, nurturing us with it’s suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee. Infused with subtle elegance and earthy refinement, we already are in love with this colour palette!

We are really looking forward to bringing Mocha tones through some of our table designs in 2025, the notion of nurturing our guests and making them comfortable at our table is what we strive for when entertaining.

We are also this year following a bold trend of unexpected colour combinations. Unconventional colour palletes are challenging norms and this is being seen in many industries from fashion to interior design, where designers and consumers are embracing a new era of self-expression. For example, red and pink, pale blue and sage green. Neons are even making an appearance.

Sarah Carter, Director at Dress For Dinners says, “We love this trend and are excited to experiment with unusual colour combinations. Our latest table design features red and pink, once thought of as a no no, but now two of the easiest and pleasing colours to pair together. They bring freshness and energy to the dinner table!

“Its important still to choose a dominant colour and then build in a secondary colour. Pink is our main colour and then we have complimented with red ribbon, candles, bows and other décor.  We find tying ribbon around candlesticks, glasses or vases the best and most effective way of adding in a secondary colour.”

Here’s to a prosperous 2025 and showing off our colours!
