Refund policy

We love to keep our customers happy, so they spread the word. Exceptional customer service is a big part of our mission.

So... not keen on your purchase... no problem! Just contact us at hello@dressfordinner.co.uk and we can start a return for you.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 2 whole weeks after receiving your item to request a return and refund. *PLEASE NOTE* We are happy to extend this for any Christmas gift returns in January. 

We’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. We do not pay return postage unless goods are faulty.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned back to us within 28 days of purchase; be in the same condition that you received it – or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will need photographs of the damaged item AND the external packaging. We are happy to offer refunds for damaged or defective goods or exchanges for wrong items received, if brought to our notice within 14 days.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or candles unless items are damaged on arrival.

Exchanges
The simplest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. But if you just can't wait that long and have your eye on something in particular, email us and we will do our very best to reserve it for you for a limited time.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
